Meta has announced new advertising products designed to help brands concentrate campaign exposure around launches, cultural events and other priority moments.
The updates, presented at its Brand Building Summit on 15 October, include Ads Super Burst, First Impression Ads, expanded Reels Trending Ads and an experimental video measurement tool.

Reserved windows and premium placements
Ads Super Burst allows advertisers to reserve a window of three to 24 hours for concentrated audience reach. Meta says advertisers can use Reach Planner to estimate reach and pricing, with category exclusivity available.
First Impression Ads is being tested in the United States. The placement gives one brand per day the first advertising position people encounter when opening their Facebook Feed.
Reels Trending Ads is also expanding, with additional content topics and seasonal lineups that place advertising immediately after popular Reels.
Measuring attention across several exposures
Meta is testing Aggregated View Time, which measures the total time someone spends viewing a brand’s advertising across a week. The product remains in an early alpha phase.
The announcements carry different rollout conditions. Ads Super Burst is expanding in phases, while First Impression Ads remains a US test. The coverage reviewed does not establish a Sri Lankan rollout for these products. Local advertisers should confirm eligibility before including them in media plans.
